About This Game Fable Fortune is a game of Choice and Consequence. Play as one of six unique Heroes in a card game with fast-paced and thrilling tactical gameplay. At the start of a match, you must choose your quest. Completing quests earns unique rewards which can help turn the tide of battle. On completing a Quest, you must choose, Good or Evil? Turning to Good or Evil changes the abilities your hero can use, but also the powers and properties of your cards. This means you can react to your opponent, changing your strategy and the cards in your hand based on the choices you make. Fable Fortune has been designed from the ground up around 2 player co-op. Team up with a friend or stranger to learn the game, working together to take down challenging Raid Bosses. In Co-op mode, you take turns to fight, but you share each others units. For the hardest challenges, you’ll need to work closely with an ally, designing decks and picking heroes which synergize with each other. Beat bosses to earn exclusive prizes and rewards. Different Arenas have different Quests and Rewards, changing the battlefield. Every week, you’ll see special events with entirely different rules. Only moustaches allowed? Max power mode? Hatch an Egg each time you use your hero power? We aim to have an ever changing, evolving meta which rewards experimentation and puts a focus on strategy and skill. Matches in Fable Fortune start with 3 Gold, meaning it’s straight into the action quickly. For each deck you create, you can pick a special ‘Trophy’ card which you’ll receive if you’re playing second, to get things off to a strong start. Fable Fortune allows you to defend any unit on the battlefield with the ‘Guard’ feature. Because any unit can protect your Hero, this open up a huge range of deck-building strategy and possibilities. Choose to protect yourself, or your most powerful units. Some units have special abilities which will trigger when they’re placed into Guard. We’ve focused on minimizing randomness in the game; emphasizing skill and strategy. On top of any purchases you make, you’ll start the game with 10 Card Packs. This includes a Guaranteed Fabled Card. The first time you play a hero, you’ll get two packs, and can gain more than 50 just for levelling heroes. We’ll regularly be rewarding new and interesting cards for taking part in Events, Co-op or PvP. Whether you choose to spend money or not; we want the game to be enjoyable and competitive. We're a small, passionate development team. We're huge card game and Fable fans, and we've had a lot of fun making this gameThrough the Early Access period, we've worked closely with the community to expand, tweak and update the game. We're now at 1.0 release and we'll be continuing to update the game with new content, events and features based on your feedbackThanks for your support! We hope to see you on the battlefield! 7aa9394dea Title: Fable FortuneGenre: Free to Play, StrategyDeveloper:Mediatonic, Flaming Fowl StudiosPublisher:MediatonicRelease Date: 21 Feb, 2018 Fable Fortune Download] [License] Everything HS should have been. Better card mechanics by a long shot without any just plain ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t RNG. The game just needs more players. Don't let that deter you from purchasing though, it does not take long at all to find a match for ranked or co-op for that matter. Some polishing is needed in its currrent state for sure but its still being developed so its understandable. 6 classes, 300 cards at the moment and they say their looking to add 100 more cards soon as well as 2 more classes. It is very fun and especially for only 15$ its a steal. especially since you get 30 packs with itso it pays for itself.. I love this game, it has fast become my favourite CCG there is, and it's still early days. I can't wait to see all the new planned features come to light and see this game fully realised. Here are my top 3 reasons that make Fable Fortune great:- The artwork and voices on the cards is so very 'Fable'. The cosmetics are really wonderful and the game looks great.- I'm always changing decks for new arenas. This is great because each new arena, whether it be for coop or pvp, gets me thinking about cards differently. What is strong in one arena is weak in another and as they add more arenas and quest rewards different cards will see play in different ways and this keeps things interesting.- Even though I've stared at this card set for ages, I keep finding new an interesting synergies. There is so much depth to the design that even after many weeks of playing I'm still surprised sometimes by new interactions that I uncover. Deck building is such an important part of any CCG and I've spent hours in Fortunes deck builder looking over the cards and working out cool interactions. The game is definitely still in early development, so don't expect a full and complete game. If that's what you want, hang on and wait until later in the year when it gets released in full and will be free to play. But if you want to jump in now and help the devs out, then I highly recommend getting the early access bundle. You get a bunch of packs at a cheaper price, a unique artwork trophy card and a guaranteed fable card. It's a great deal if you want to get in early, but as I said, if you aren't down with dealing with bugs or waiting for features that are still in the process of being developed, then better to hang on and grab the game later when it's done.. Edited review:Now that it's gone F2P the major problem it had - player base - is fixed and I of course have to give it a thumbs up now.So, what is it?I'd say it is basically Hearthstone Pro - in that it basically is Hearthstone without the ridiculous RNG, the best deck and/or player is very likely to win the match. It is fairly well balanced as well and few cards seem OP and even the ones that look like they are prob. won't win the game by themselves.Things lacking in the game I would say one thing more than anything else, the "combat log" - that is the thing on the left of your screen in Hearthstone, the thing that showed you what card was just played, on what and its' effect. (you do get to see the card played but it disappeárs way too fast IMHO)Still, I'd say that if you're bored with the RNG and netdecks, not to mention C**t Thun in Hearthstone this is prob. something you'll like/love.. I like concept of this game.I think its have potential.Current BAD things:- SLOW animations, interface, packs opening (it need to be more responsive and when i do something - i need to see results as soon as possible and my moves need to create sequense that will be played if animation slow);- No log of the game events - in game (often you need to see what happen during turn or two);- No auto deck creation (if you try to finish deck building with 30 card, suggest to auto fill the deck); If you fix it - it can be the game that i invest a lot of time and money.Stability issues i dont think is critical at current stage.. Not bad, one of the best card games I've played on steam. The fact it's fable makes it betterOne aspect of this I really like is the unique ability system each hero has. spend 2 gold for a special (summon peasants or potions for example) or all heros can pay 1 gold and add block to a card. Also devs I hope this succedes so we can get Fable 2 and 3 here on steam...Maybe a 2 remastered?
